Supporting The Area Of Palamas, Karditsa
In the framework of its corporate social responsibility, Attiki Bee Culturing Co. has been actively supporting the residents of Palamas in Karditsa, a region strongly stricken by storm Daniel in September, offering logistics and support to people who have been experiencing extremely adverse living conditions.
The mission was delivered upon consultation with the Vice-Mayor of Palamas, Mr Vaios Bakavelos, as an effort to cover the needs that still exist in the broader region of the Municipality. We offered:
- 5 pallets of cleansers
- 1 pallet with stationary for all pupils of the Municipality
- 2 pallets with folders for the Municipality
- 1 pallet with products of our Company
- 1 pallet with clothing and linen gathered upon our employees’ initiative
Our Company’s priority is to support bee culturing areas in practice. Especially in the area of Karditsa, our Company has been cooperating with a group of producers who supply us with the typical local forest honey. In addition to our collaboration with procuring local honey, Attiki-Pittas works closely with the Cooperative Bank of Karditsa for supporting professional producers and has been supporting the local society by sponsoring the Sports Club of Karditsa for 8 years in a row.
As Georgios Pittas, President of Attiki-Pittas, said: “To all of us, the greater region of Karditsa and its beekeepers are a part of our family and we are emotionally connected with them”.
